Day 1: Arrival Amman - Dead Sea - Amman |

Our representative welcomes you at Amman Airport, assists you through immigration and matches with your tour leader. We drive to the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea where you have some leisure and the chance to float on water. Continue to Amman hotel for overnight. |
Day 2: Amman - Petra - Amman (B) |

After breakfast start to visit Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. The Nabatean Arabs hewed the rock city more than 2000 years ago in the red rose sandstone. On horse back or on foot you reach the narrow canyon, the so-called Siq, and walk to the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Stroll along the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs, Pharaoh's Castle. In the afternoon return to Amman hotel. |
Day 3: Amman - Jerash - Bosra - Damascus (B) |

Today we drive 50 km in the north to Jerash, the best preserved Roman provincial town in the Middle East. See the Oval Plaza, the Cardo, the Hippodrome and Artemis Temple. Then we head further north to enter the border to Syria, visit the black basalt city Bosra with the famous Roman theater and go on to Damascus where the rest of the day is free. Overnight in Damascus. |
Day 4 : Damascus City Tour (B) |

In the morning start your city tour in Damascus visiting the Azem Palace, housing the Museum of Arts & Popular Traditions, the Chapel of St. Hananias, the Via Recta (Straight Street), already mentioned in the Bible, the Umayyad Mosque from the 8th century. Afterwards time for shopping in the famous souq Al Hamiddiyyeh. Overnight Damascus. |
Day 5: Damascus - Maaloula - Krak of the Knights - Damascus (B) |

After breakfast we drive to the muntain village Maaloula visiting two famous monasteries. We proceed to Crac des Chevaliers, the best preserved fortress from Crusader times in Syria. It was built in the 12th century to dominate the pass which is the Syrian gateway to the Mediterranean. Transfer for 2 hours back to Damascus. |
